The story says officials and players went into the stands to break up the fight. i assume they mean game officials and not school officials. No way I would ever go into the stands for an issue there unless it involved my personal safety. Other than maybe trying to keep players from leaving the bench area if possible, I'm standing back and letting game management handle it.
