Glad to see a play where we all agree! Fortunately, no MLB on this forum.
BTW,
1) Why in the world would F4 set up with his left foot in front of the runner and then stay there?
2) You said "All four outfielders vociferously objected".
Outfielders only exist when:
a) they make a catch
b) we have to duck one of their throws
3) At least he admitted it (F4 didn't yell, but he did say something like, "You gotta give me that play. Nobody makes that call.")
