But I have no conflicts of interest where I live. I have even worked my old high school early on in my career and had no issues.

I also work my former high school and the high school that my wife attended. I even work games where those two teams play each other. They are also in the same district and conference. If the coaches and ADs are fine with it, I couldn't care less what anybody else in the crowd has to say.
I know that I'm professional enough to call the what I see and not have any bias one way or the other.
