From CF, least likely throwing lane, lead runner covered by PU. Didn't mean so far as to miss R2 at 3rd. Also, question was/is about ending point for 2nd.

I wouldn't recommend it simply because when defenders go to make a play on a subsequent runner at the trail base, it is a possibility that throw may be right down that base line. Get a good angle, but be aware of your are on the field in relation to subsequent plays.
That's why I asked, as that is the norm. OK, have to stop sooner or keep moving if still a trailing runner.
