As long as we were on pitching, more or less, a partial hijack.
Team changes pitchers during an inning. While the manager is rearranging defense and then reporting to PU, the new pitcher starts pitch-like lobs to the catcher who is standing out in the infield half way to plate after the team's circle meeting.
Do they count as warmup pitches?
If so, is it a violation if she was returning and not eligible for warmups?
