How about on a free throw when the ball is to remain dead following the throw, or if it happens on a try for goal following a foul.

No, I wasn't nitpicking Mark's post. In the situation I brought up, it's not an AP, it's a violation. just making it clear for the original poster. In your reply, no one will get the ball. play will continue as if the wedgie didn't occur.
Very true. I just thought that you were pointing out non-AP situations.
