Bill Plummer - ASA

F.Y.I. If you worked in OKC, you have probably met Bill Plummer. Apparently, he passed early this AM
Eileen Plummer-Orth Flatt to Bill Plummer III
1 hr
This is Bill Plummer's sister Eileen Plummer Flatt of Chandler, Az. With a sad and heavy heart our dear brother William Hamilton Plummer III died from a heart attack while driving in Oklahoma City, Ok at 4 am today. We will miss him as all of you who worked with him and knew him for years. Bill was passionate about softball where he worked many yrs., and wrote many books on this subject. He was very talented and gifted but his work in softball will live on. We have truly lost a gentle soul who will play and write in heaven where he will join our parents and brother Alan. Brother Bill will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, NY. We are going down next week to make arrangements when the Medical Examiner's office is open Monday in Oklahoma City, Ok. A newspaper obit will appear in the Syracuse Herald Journal by my sister Lori Plummer Howard. May you rest in peace dear brother. You were loved and will be dearly missed.

The bat issue in softball is as much about liability, insurance and litigation as it is about competition, inflated egos and softball.
