VIDEO REQUEST - Kicking Violation and 10 Second Violation - OU/WV -- January 16, 2016
10:48 remaining in the first half. OU inbounds the ball and is immediately trapped in the back court. The pass out of the trap is kicked by the defender. Official calls the kick, and the ball is given back to OU with 28 seconds remaining on the shot clock and 10:46 on the game clock.
I thought that in NCAA-M, the shot clock reset for a kicking violation. Did I miss something?
After the throw-in, OU brings the ball up the court, and is then called for a 10 second violation with 20 seconds left on the shot clock, and 10:38 on the game clock. Quick conference by all three officials, and then they end up giving the ball back to OU due to the erroneous 10 second violation.
Rough little span for that official.
