It was totally unnecessary. The kid had an immediate reaction but then instantly calmed down and was not saying or doing anything disrespectful, and I had addressed him. The CC had no idea what was going on between the player and myself. His rationale once we were in the locker room is that "we can't let players do that to us".  |
