Thumbs up

For those of you who have followed the story of the coach who assaulted a referee in Palos Heights, Illinois last year here's the most recent update. There are three stories. 1) Chicago Tribune (You may have to type the web address in your web browser for this Tribune story...the link appears to omit the last part) 2) Daily Southtown 3)Chicago SunTimes

1).

It's important to note that the league still refuses to ban him even though a judge did. In fact the league president is quoted in one of the articles as saying "He's welcome to come back and coach". Also, Mr. Trench claims to have been hired by a high school as a football coach since his conviction and sentencing for battery. He wouldn't name the supposed high school. (It's not established that this claim of coaching employment is true or a lie)

Make sure you read the Chicago Tribune article. Among other things he said, he's quoted as saying if he could go back he'd "beat the referee into the ground" and "from one end of the field to the other".

Again, thanks for you interest and support.
