Michigan doesn't have coaches ratings, but officials do have the option to rate high school level teams on the following:
- Sportsmanship of student athletes
- Sportsmanship of coaching staff
- Host school environment and management
Options for each are:
- Greatly exceeded expectation
- Exceeded expectation
- Met expectation
- Below expectation
- Well below expectation
