2. Honestly, it would depend upon who my partner is. It seems to me that some guys need to have egg on their face and I'm not willing to bail them out. Others are wonderful people who can just be in over their heads on certain games or aren't good with the oddball plays and need some help once in a while. I don't mind throwing them a life preserver. I think, in most cases, making the call would be sufficiently embarrassing to the guys with big egos. I'm not sure I'd want my game to land in the crapper to prove a point, though.
I'd probably make the call, although I can imagine the odd scenario where I'd leave a partner out to dry on this one.
