My Fed has invited me to attend an advanced SP course in a couple of weeks. When we received our invites the course invigilator included this note:
"Below is a scenario for you to think about. We'll be discussing this on the course:
Top of 3rd, 1 out, R1 on 2nd, R2 on 1st.
B5 comes up to bat instead of B3 and hits a ground ball to F4 who throws to F6 who has run to 2nd and is in contact with the base, F6 then throws to F5 for a tag on R1 which is not made but B2 has accidentally brushed against F6 before the throw to F5 and B1 safely reaches 1st even though F3 is obstructing them.
The defensive coach appeals that B5 is batting out of order.
The umpire notices that F1 is wearing metal cleats and F8 is wearing a mitt, also you notice that there are 3 females in the outfield. F4 is an unreported sub and F6 is a sub who has not previously been in the game but came on as a blood replacement for the starting F6. F10 is standing between F4 and F6 at the time of the pitch, and the offensive coach appeals that F10 is an outfielder and should not be there.
Have fun with this one, lads...
