Our Legion Ball plays with National League rules with the American League DH.. so we couldn't play with 8.... My partner and I discussed this at length.. As far as getting flack.. we didn't get any.. everyone involved knew what had to be done... I mean the players were disappointed.. but they understood and so did the coach.. who also happened to be the ejected players father...
