Got to call a 7 on 7 touch scrimmage/tourney today. Nothing but passing. Felt great to get out there and run around with the kids (high schools), throw a flag, get to hear a coach going nuts over the OPI the wiped a TD off the boards. Even tried out the back judge position for the first time. Not really sure of what I was doing there but it was cool... Last 3 plays were all 40+ yard bombs. 2 were untimed. 1 due to my OPI call and one due to a DPI call by my partner. 3rd came up 2 yards short of a td. Told me I need to get the running shoes out cuz I was sucking wind...YES IT IS FOOTBALL SEASON ALMOST.
