That is a great sentiment. Unfortunately, telling the coaches in the pregame they need to ask questions in a civil manner is not going to have any impact on their actions during the game. They already know this. What it will do is lead to some idiot asking a dumbass question and then following up with well you said ask anything. I think a statement reminding them that they are expected to act professionally/respectfully gets the same point across. It is just as ineffective, but it is less open-ended and will lead to less smartass comments.
