Another front court back court scenario

Ball is in team A's front court, ball is to be thrown in on the base line (front court) by the basket, A1's possession for a throw in

Player A1 throws the ball in by the top of the key in the front court where A2 tips the ball which then goes into the back court, tipped so that B2 couldnt intercept it.

After A2 tips the ball, A2 then goes into the back court retrieves his own tip, and is the first to pick up the ball and begins a dribble.

In this case, did A2's tip then retrieval before anyone else touched the ball complete the throw in, which now makes it a back court violation?

Thank you
