Started with some fall league last night mens and womens. Mostly high school players trying to get back into game shape and former HS players out for a run. Guys game no one put in work on their defense over the summer or seemed willing to put in work on it during fall. High scoring very few fouls to call, until late when they "weren't given up layups" at crunch time. No complaints. Ladies game was similar from the footwork stand point but lots of holding and grabbing all over. Got some looks but again no comments.

Me: Thanks, but why the big rush.
Coach: Oh I thought you must have a big date . . .we're not the only ones your planning on F$%&ing tonite are we!
