That's unfortunate-We have a few summer leagues who ask our association to come in and officiate. Our group uses it for observation and training.Every official is videotaped and observed as the R1 and R2 and given items to work on.At the end of the observation sheet for R1's is a single question-"Is this official capable of working a sub-varsity match by themselves?" Those who get yes's on observations along with passing the rules test handle matches in the fall.Ratings are conducted by the C1 and C2 rated officials who work as mentors at each site.New officials are rated during these camp days also and are expected to meet the same requirements as returning officials to gain a schedule.

Here are our classifications and ratings.
