The local newspaper here in Portland, "The Oregonian", has a humor column called "The Edge". A few days ago, it contained suggested rule changes for sports to make them more fun. Here's the two they suggest for basketball:
If a player stays in the key longer than three seconds, the other team may give him a wedgie.
Blowing in the shooter's ear at the free-throw line is cool.
