Why do some umpires feel they have to be the center of attention?
I'm not suggesting that we all turn into automatons; there can be some individuality in our signals and mechanics. But they should be within the norms of acceptance. "Whoomp, There It Is!" and movements like you're falling off a ledge are certainly not.
