I appreciate the history lesson. You very well may have history and the proper application of rules on your side. However, at least as far as NCAA-M basketball goes, that means absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, whether he is right or wrong, Art Hyland is in a position of authority when it comes to making these rulings, whereas you are not. Thus, anybody interested in officiating NCAA-M basketball will follow the edict handed down by Art Hyland until such time he can be convinced it is incorrect.
