4-15-1 . . . A dribble is ball movement . . .
4-15-5 . . . An interrupted dribble occurs when the ball is loose . . .

In the OP, the dribble has ended, when the dribbling movevement is ended, and since it can't be an interrupted dribble, because the ball is not loose, I would probably call the subsequent action a second dribble = violation.
