From the camera angle, the status of the ball inconclusive. IMO, the C is too high to be able to see the status of the ball, as well. Working lower may have increased the odds of him getting a better look into the play. Or, stepping down on the dribble drive to the baseline, at the very least.
Another talking point - do you have a block or no call on the contact between jump shooter and defender on the previous possession?
