For those of you wondering if doing outlaw ie. Non affiliated or Brand New Group affiliated ball is worth it, let me tell you my tale.

I rushed home tonight to get ready to drive in the morning to do Outlaw ball for a 'friend' since he is out of town. After rushing home and packing, I get a text message from another umpire that the TD 'doesn't need me' in the morning. I am half tempted to drive down there and find out what is really going on in the morning.

I know that when I get there it will be a mish mash of rules and coaches, and a bunch of umpires that let them get away with murder today and I will be the bad guy tomorrow. Now I am awaiting the call.
