Our state supervisor presented our annual clinic last night. He is on the NFHS equipment sub-committee. As stated in the article, NOCSAE will not support their certification if the helmet has any alteration to it.
Somebody, and it may have been posted on the other main officiating site, posted these a year or two ago. They kind of look like rugby caps.
