Sorry. I understood the above to mean that the referee was going over things with the FAT operator after the meet was complete.

If it happened immediately after the race, those two should not have been included in the results. I also would not consider it one of their four events for the meet because they were not properly entered and even though they were on the track, they did not really compete in the race.

It does raise all sorts of questions about what would have happened if one of them had committed interference while they weren't competing in the race.
