Proud Daddy Moment

Yesterday, my daughter's JH tennis match was the 25th one. We didn't know that was the LAST one.

As she entered the tiebreaker we noticed about 10 - 12 other members of the team had come to watch, and were clapping at each point. This was kind of cool, but we didn't know why yet.

When she won the tiebreaker (which she had to rally just to get to) to win the match 9-8, we were informed that the other 24 matches had split 12-12. Her match had won it for the team. (The teammates who were still there and the coach all agreed not to tell her it was not just her tiebreaker but the tiebreaker for the entire meet - they didn't want to add any pressure. I'm glad they didn't tell ME - I was more nervous than her already!)
