And just how does a Floridian know about the seedy past of the Berlin Turnpike? Over the years the Berlin Turnpike has been cleaned up considerably, although we recently had an on duty police officer meet his "girlfriend" at one of motels on the pike. He parked his marked, light barred, black and white, police cruiser behind the motel so that nobody would spot the car. And a few weeks ago a Mom pulled out her handgun to settle a dispute among kids at Chuck E. Cheese.
