Couldn't find anything about perpendicular in the book. Any thoughts on how to handle this.
If perpendicular, the defense does NOT have the right to get in between.

Trail and (especially) lead should review the book.

During a game, use rock, paper, scissors to decide (or any other method that works for you -- defer to the R, defer to the most senior, defer to the administering official, ...)
