Arthritis

I have arthritis in both knees on the anterior side. I am on an aspirin regime which helps a little. I also take a NASID, meloxicam. I also take 1500 mg of Glucosamine / Chondroitin twice daily. It takes about a month for the level of the Glucosamine / Chondroitin to build up so that you can tell a difference.

I try to ride a bicycle about 10 miles at least 4 to 5 times a week. The bicycle riding builds up my leg strength without the impact of running or jogging on my knees. It also helps with your flexibility.

I know it sounds crazy, but try to avoid sugar and/or sweets. Intake of sugar and/or sweets seems to contribute to my legs and feet not feeling as perky as usual. It’s also a killer on the waistline.

After you clear it with your physician, you might try these things out.
