While watching this game, the color commentators--the rules experts we of course know them to be
--mentioned this possibility.
My question, for those of you that may know the SEC governing rules, is whether such suspensions have been given to others? I know earlier this season WSU's Deone Buchannon was suspended for a hit, but that was by the Pac-12. Does the NCAA mandate such suspensions, or is this a only at the conference level?
What I find amazing is that there is an official standing right there, but no flag.
