Funny you say that, walked out to find the exact same thing last night. explained to them the rational behind the rule and i think the light bulb came on.
Also had a guy wear a pinny (sic?) which would of been ok except it was yellow with diamomds on it
my guess is the AD just grabed it from the chain gang stuff right before kickoff err tipoff.
Also had a partner relay a story where a guy just stuck a mshsaa state patch on the sleeve of his shirt
