I don't know your height, weight or age. Depending on a weight loss goal is fine, but the best thing to have done before you got on a diet/workout regimen was to have gotten your BMI measured. If your weight loss isn't what your hoping, you could be putting on muscle. At the end of the bet, you could remeasure, and see. Losing weight too fast isn't good for the muscles because your body will start craving, and then you wind up with less muscle, and more flabby skin.
