He's a lawyer from upstate New York, so he naturally took over the "negotiations" between both AD's, coaches, and game management staff. Keep in mind that while Bo Boroski was going to toss to start the game, the R isn't required to toss - he can delegate to whomever he chooses.....it's very possbile that Cahill WAS the R and choose Bo to throw it up.
