Among the myriad other "little things" that our local D-I head coach does is to have several officials at each practice. Fouls are charted by a manager & a report is generated for each position coach immediately following practice. Officials are paid a little more than a "free lunch".
The head coach takes a very dim view of players who commit procedural-type fouls, but is slightly more lenient when it comes to contact fouls. He
really hates for any of his defensive players to be flagged, good call or not!
