Well that is not the mentality in football officiating at all. Actually officials want to make sure their stuff is not overturned. Getting a call overturned is makes them look bad or look like they were not doing their job, especially on basic plays. Some plays are just nut cutters and video in football helps get a play right. And many calls in football are not reviewable anyway.

I agree with the sentiment that in the NBA this would just slow down games more than they already have been. But at least those officials get to look at their plays and make a ruling unlike college or pro football.
