Using this criteria, I would have had to stop a game last evening in an intramural league.

Although conditions were pleasant and partly sunny, at least 4 baserunners did face plants while taking their trips around the bases. Simply, their bodies were trying to move faster than their legs could take them.

One guy splatted half-way to home and was a dead duck, but the infielder taking a cut-off throw also fell down. He tried throwing to home from his butt, but the runner managed to regain his footing and scored.

I believe they're going to remedial baserunning this weekend. First game for 1 team and the second game for the other. Quite comical overall. Each team had guys that went down and everyone had a grand old time busting on the other guys.

One of the plays was a blooper to F9 who charged in to make a catch. Runner from first tried scrambling back to first, but of course fell down, allowing that rare DP of F9U.
