The original question involves a catcher with her foot on the line of the batter's box.
It has been established that this is legal positioning for F2.
I read Irish's post to be saying that if the catcher is so positioned (ie: with a foot on the lines of the box), then he's not going to worry about
that. No one should, because it's
legal. But if there also happens to be a safety or possible obstruction issue due to F2's otherwise legal positioning, then you "worry about it" and address it.
He's not saying that if the catcher is
illegally positioned, he's going to ignore it.
