I have just returned from Atlanta with my wife, and I have some observations/questions that may or may not have been answered already
So I am sitting in Hooters with my wife watching the second men's semi:
1. Traveling out of bounds? I saw this already discussed but it seemed odd no one made a big deal about it. If it was a dunk or "missed" block/charge they would have played it over and over again with Packer saying how wrong the official was. I am not sure anyone would agree that he went outside the 3' area.
2. This may be a thing with different associations, so it may be my slant. I noticed one official (I don't know who, shorter of the 3) when he would administer the throw in from the lead would always stand lane side when handing the ball. Is this taught? I noticed several occasions where his other 2 partners would be alittle confused running down the court when the ball was stolen during a throw in. I have always been told to administer on the sideline side.
3. Did any one else think the B/C was inconsistent within the group? Not trying to be critical, it happens in all crews. Maybe I just noticed more or was distracted by the orange shorts.
4. An alum of where I work and former assoc. member did the 1st semi - final. Talk about mixed blessings. "Great my first Final 4 adn it is over after introductions!"
Women's
1. Not much here, I was enjoying the game. But one question. At the end of the game Brittany Jackson banks in a 3. The clocks short out and Pat Summit asks for and receives a TO. My question is, would she have had a case to get the TO back since they had to stop the game to get the clock re set?
Thanks
