We've got gambling, drinking, guns, medical marijuana, and even prostitution.

When I was a teenager back in the 60s (that's the 1960s, not the 1860s, although sometimes I feel like that was the case) I used to go out to Vegas in the summers to visit my grandparents. My grandfather worked at strip hotel casinos for many years (Stardust, Sands & Sahara). Vegas was really much better then when the mob ran it. You could get a dinner buffet meal for $1.50, etc. Then, the bean counters took over. It's still a pretty good place, though. I've been back a few times.
BTW - I know this is way off topic, but you guys might get a kick out of knowing that my grandfather, back in the 1920s in Chicago (which is where my family is from), worked in a casino for Al Capone. Not kidding.
