Based on some recent conversation, here are some situations, What do you have?
1. A1 leading by one is dribbling in his backcourt with 2 seconds left in the game. He tosses the ball high in the air to start the celebration. The horn goes off, then the ball winds up coming down and going in B's basket.
2. Team A is up by 1 with 2 seconds to play, passing the ball in their backcourt. A1's pass is deflected by B1, the horn goes off, and the ball then bounces off the backboard and into B's basket.
3. Team A is up 1 with 2 seconds to play, passing the ball in their backcourt. A1's pass deflects off A2's back, the horn goes off and the ball the goes in B's basket.
4. Team A is down 1 with 2 seconds to play, passing the ball in their frontcourt. A1's pass deflects off B'1s back, the horn goes off and the ball enters A's basket.
Thanks....

None of these count, since none are tries and so the ball becomes dead at the horn. (Possible exception -- in #2, if B's deflection was ruled a tap, then the basket would count. The way you describe it, though, it would almost certainly not be a tap.)
