I know that the pelvic protector came out on the market right after the Little League fiasco in Florida a couple of years ago. Does the pelvic protector really help? My question is not a smart alec one, but just a question from the uncivilized half the the Earth's population.

I guess it would be personal preference, but I feel no need for a pelvic protector. I mean it's not like we have any, (how to say it) external things to cover down there. Sure, we could get a bruise, but we don't fall on the ground sucking air for 10 minutes if we get hit there. I would rather cover my (as Elaine says) bazongas.
