Other than a possible late addition my first year came to a close yesterday after a girls double header.

I had a really good time, my first game I was the clueless rookie, yesterday I was in decent position to get the calls, arm up at the right time, whistles, reporting of fouls was a lot slower, I've managed to put up 5 player control fouls and call them properly.

I struggled for awhile with out of bounds calls not so much for positioning but in focusing on who caused it to go out, I got comfortable and started announcing more definitively the possession and that eliminated any of the early difficulties.

I had that scenario yesterday on a sideline call. Ball went out off White and I called Red ball, White coach says I don't think you're right but you sure were strong it what you called, that's all I want.

And losing 15 pounds and having to buy new pants for season 2 is a nice side benefit!
