I agree. The head coach was on the bench and he should have been T'd up. I did this at in a summer game for a very good varsity program. the HC had one of his assitants be the HC for the day and he just sat at the end of the bench. He said some things that got a T.

He was whining that he's not even part of the game. I said your bench your problem and he's on your bench. He moved to the stands.

The threat after on his way out would have earned him a Flagrant T. Especially since he was on the bench you can get away with this. I would also tell the varsity officials of this and contact the local league administrators as I think the coach would be barred from coaching his game as well.
