If I am coaching B, I pull B1 from the game and inform the ref that they need to refer to the correctable error rules in the book. We get our 2 points, A shoots the second FT with the lane cleared, A then shoots the technicals, then A gets the ball at midcourt.
Otherwise, if the ref continues down the wrong path that they commenced, B gets shafted by unfairly losing their two points, A shoots three FTs with lane cleared and gets ball at midcourt.
