Last year, I had a weird one in this realm. As soon as A-1 made a throw-in to A-2, Coach A says to me, "Stop the clock. There's a shoe untied." I gave him a few seconds of a you're-kidding-me look, and moved on.
That said, it's interesting that we can remove a player for an untucked shirt, but not for footwear malfunction.

Footwear will take care of itself if you don't stop the game. Jerseys magically come untucked and stay that way.
(I find this particular rule to be a waste of time, but I enforce it anyway.)
