I know that assignor and he's been good to me as well. Great guy. Many believe that doing the F and JV games for that league is as tough a doubleheader as there is. And I'd have to agree.
As for the other league, if a coach just doesn't like you, you're screwed. And some grudges can last a long time. The league is just hurting themselves.
