I sense that if you do what you are supposed to do (IE See Kitts in the Zags game) you could negatively affect future opportunities. Example...there is a high school league in Cincinnati that gives the power to the coaches. You cant get in without a recommendation. You can get bumped out on one coach's no vote. Another example....In Ohio, post season officials are selected based on a vote system...by coaches.

It's a shame that politics might prevail over officiating talent in some cases.If you do officiate in one of these areas,like Larks does,I guess that you'd best learn how to play the game if you want to advance,though.
