How often do you see a five point play? Once in a while...but how often when a team is down by five under 30 seconds left? Had a 8th grade girls' tournament championship game today, team B was down by 8 with under a minute left. After hitting one three pointer, they got the ball back and B1 hits her second three pointer in about twenty seconds. My partner whistles on the shot, hard shove by A1 underneath, and B2 is on the line for bonus shots. She hits both ends of the one-and-one, and they won in overtime. Crazy.
